November is weird, right? We spend the whole first half of the month being thankful for what we have...then we end the month fighting for deals on new stuff that we may or may not need. There is nothing wrong with taking advantage of a great sale but, we want ours to be more meaningful. We want to give ours the purpose of giving back to our community.
For the entire month of November, we're offering a 5% discount in-store to everyone who donates a non-perishable food item to our food drive. Donations will go to the Midland Emergency Food Pantry Network. The Midland EFPN is a cooperative effort of local organizations to provide food and supplies to people, right in our own backyard, who have emergency needs and are living near or below the Federal poverty level.
Items needed the most include canned meat such as tuna or chicken, cereal, canned meals like stew or chili, canned fruit, soups, Hamburger or Tuna Helper, pasta sauces, pasta, pancake mix, syrup, cooking oil, flour, and sugar. Items must be donated at the time of the sale to qualify for a discount. Donations must be non-perishable, unopened, unused, and be within the best by date.
There is no limit to the number of times you can take advantage of this offer. For every time you make a donation, we'll honor the discount.
