Dead End Brewer's 4th Annual Tastes Like a Winner Homebrew Competition: POSTPONED TO JANUARY
Saturday, January 6th: The registration page will close at 11:59 PM on January 6th, 2018. No brews can be registered after this time.
Each brew must be independently registered on the registration page.
There is no limit on the number of beers that can be submitted by a brewer.
Contact information is only used by the organizers to contact you if additional bottles are needed, critical event updates, and submission reminders.
Sunday, January 7th: Bottles must be dropped off at Michigan Brew Supply no later than January 7th.
Bring your bottles to the store during normal business hours and inform them that they are for the competition.
Bottles must include the submission labels attached with scotch tape or similar (no glue).
Labels can be made by filling out
this form and printing. Please type to ensure the form is legible.
Please bring 2 bottles per registered brew.
*Note that more bottles will be needed the day of the competition for the Brewers Choice award so plan accordingly.
Bottles will be stored at cellar temperatures until the day of judging – keep this in mind if filling from a keg. Bottles will be chilled below cellar temperatures prior to the judging.
Sunday, January 15th: Competition Awards & Tasting Event

Winners will be announced & prizes awarded.
The tasting event will be held for socializing as well as for selecting a Brewers Choice award!
Saturday, November 4th is National Learn to Homebrew Day!

Join us for a day full of brewing demos, homebrew sampling & socializing. Whether you've never brewed and would like to get started, are just curious about the process, or you're ready to advance to all grain brewing - you'll find these demonstrations fun and informative! In addition, there will be in-store specials going on all day. Beer inspired and infused foods will be available for snacking. As always, there will be homebrews to sample and you're more than welcome to bring some of your own to share. Come learn, mingle and brew with the homebrewers in your community. Cheers!
Saturday, November 11th: Homebrew Demonstration at Marcellus Township Library 4 pm

Join us for a hands-on demonstration of the homebrewing process. We'll brew an extract beer recipe, discuss the core ingredients of beer & their role in the final product, we'll cover the basics of the beer style we're brewing as well as a brief history of homebrewing. Must be 21+ years of age. Please call the library to RSVP & bring a photo ID for entry to the program.
