Mash temp continued to climb after I shut down the burner at 165. I think this was due to residual heat in the burner grate. It rose as high as 177 before dropping back to 152 after about 40 minutes total. I checked the SG and it looked a little low so added 1 lb of Light DME which brought the FG to exactly 1.065, I must say by dumb luck, not because I had calculated it out that way. All I had was 1 lb and that worked just right.
