Fruity, dry yarrow floral aroma, flavor is quite bitter and woody, low wormwood grapefruit. Could use more fruitiness.

Soft maple version: Citrus, woody, maple, bright. Still a little too harsh prickly ash for me after aging. Notable numbing. Bottled 0.95 gallons with CBC-1 and 22 g dextrose.

Hard maple was rough. Seemed like some of that was the wood and the rest was from sitting too long.
