new to homebrewing yet quite avid Doghouse Brewing is Hobby zymology homebrew project created by myself and my son--n-law named aply for the trouble we got into on our first project lol. I'm using English yeast strains , extracts ,steeping grains and basic principles of zymology to recreate the novelty of rapid fermenting ales for personal use and the love of good beer. Cheers

Oops! Belgian Blonde (Original) | the beer that got me started on my zymology adventures, was the extract version of this beer, very easy and excellent instructions with the result of a great tasting clear Belgium Blonde Ale. | |

Sleeping On The Couch | It came out 8.1% and it's pretty good. Very smooth strong chocolate smell and taste with a slight honey aftertaste., and the WLP007 made a very clear black beer and the malts gave it a nice tan foam head. I tried it at room temperature, don't do that lol, it's best chilled. I made a variation to the hop schedule too I used the last .5oz as finishing hops. Of course my review is bias I did create it lol. |
