Notes
A tribute to my loyal English Bulldog ,Jake the mascot and face of my Zymology hobby Doghouse Brewing Company, in the fermenter for eleven days one day for each year of his life , inspired by his favorite treat a cow femur filled with peanut butter. The goal is a dry pale ale like a Sierra Nevada for the bone with a prevalent peanut butter flavor. All of my ales are primary only extract recipes using a brew method based on the the rule of the Fibonacci spiral in natural creation. with a quick fermentation. normally forced into a 2nd activation using hot water on the outside of the fermenter and a good “roll” of the fermenter. the peanut butter extract will be added on bottling day after the batch conditions and clears in the primary after a four week undisturbed period then bottle conditioned for at least 3 weeks. Doghouse Brewing Company is a nonprofit home Zymology project.
